NOISE REDUCTION
Breakout Atlanta choreographer Graham Shelor is thrilled to announce his upcoming dance performance, NOISE REDUCTION, an evening-length contemporary dance work about listening. This work is an excavation of listening practices, exploring their capacity for harm and liberation. Filled with humor, dread, and conviction, NOISE REDUCTION bravely asserts the vital role art must play in this moment: to demand that stories be heard and to ignite crucial conversations. Open Morning Class
Join Graham Shelor for a 90-minute physical practice designed to challenge and expand your movement vocabulary. This contemporary class, geared for advanced dancers, will guide movers through a series of both technical exercises and improvisational practices. Class will culminate with the opportunity to learn and engage with material from "NOISE REDUCTION", a new evening work by Graham Shelor exploring the power in listening, set to premier this June.

NOISE REDUCTION Audtions
Graham Shelor Dance is seeking to hire 5 professional dancers for an upcoming final performance of his new work NOISE REDUCTION
All Movement backgrounds and experiences are welcome
BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals are strongly encouraged to audition
Dancers must be 21+ years of age
Proficiency in phrase work manipulation, compositional improvisation, collaborative research, and creative adaptability strongly preferred

A celebration of months-long research supported by Decatur School of Ballet’s Meli Kaye residency. A talkback will follow the performance for audience members to connect with the artists and their creative processes.

Meli Kaye Artist Workshop
Join Meli Kaye Artists-In-Residence Madeline O'Brien and Graham Shelor for a co-taught workshop. This workshop will be an offering of embodied insight into each choreographers creative process. Dancers will have the opportunity to engage with each artists movement material and research methods. There will also be time made for community dialogue and questions for the artists.

Fall For Fall Dance Festival
Fall for Fall is an annual outdoor dance festival whose mission is to provide performance opportunities to emerging choreographers. Come and see the first iteration of “Noise Reduction” a new work exploring what it means to “un-listen”. This dance will be performed alongside other works by Atlanta-based choreographers. Starring Lilia Cardosi, Shelby Coon, Emily Davis, and Erin Dutton.
