Callie Pierpoint

Callie Pierpoint is a dancer originally from the Republic of Panama, where she began her training at the Academia de Danzas Steps. During her time with Steps, she had the opportunity to travel and perform at various festivals and competitions across the United States, Greece, Russia, and the Czech Republic. Throughout her formative years, she honed her skills in Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz, with her most pivotal role being Prima Ballerina in Coppélia.

After transitioning to college, Callie shifted her focus primarily to contemporary dance while studying at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She was an active member of the university’s Dance Ensemble, working closely with renowned choreographers such as Netta Yerushalmy, Miles Yeung, and Kareem Goodwin, among others.

Now based in Atlanta, Callie is thrilled to immerse herself in the city’s vibrant arts scene. Graham Shelor Dance marks her first experience with a professional dance company, and she is deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such talented and passionate peers.
