Artist Statement

My work is an invitation to dance. In a world that prescribes how our bodies should move and what purpose they should serve, my art seeks to defy these movement expectations—whether in the studio or in everyday life. My practice is rooted in somatic disruption and subversion, using dance as a tool for social change and empowerment. I build bridges that span communities and foster dialogue across movement experiences. I believe in the transformative power of collaboration. For every moment we dance together, a wall collapses and a new understanding emerges - an embodied empathy this world desperately needs to sustain itself.
